A Queen Tribute, festival favourites Noble Jack, Kioko, Fontana, along with SkaSouls UK, Chic to Chic, Nile Rogers tribute, are among a multitude of diverse artists and ensembles ready to perform at Hill Farm, Watlington, on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th June 2022

This year marks the 10h annual festival, which takes place on a hillside overlooking the stunning South Oxfordshire scenery and boasts 4 stages and over 60 acts. Excitingly, after 2 years of no festival (Covid restrictions) we have got some special treats in store for you all.

Beacon Festival is a not-for-profit organisation and in the last 10 years we have donated over an astounding £25,500 for local charities and organisations, including Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Thomley Hall, First Steps Family Hub, Footsteps Foundation and Restore. Charity applications for 2022 have just closed and we are considering which beneficiaries we can help this year.

The festival aims to feature and celebrate local artists, food, drink and craft. The festival is eco-conscious, provides a free shuttle bus to and from the festival site, from Watlington Town to the farm, and offers camping.

There is something for all the family, including a designated children’s area and activities, a teen stage, holistic therapies, wellbeing practitioners and, of course, the fantastic line up of performing acts which include all genres of music. Plus the most amazing sunsets over the hills.

Lindsay Howard-Dean, Festival Co-ordinator/Founder, says “I am in no doubt that 2022 will be our best festival yet, we have grown so much over the last few years, creating an atmosphere of community that welcomes family festival goers into our beautiful space in The Chiltern Hills.  We are passionate about showcasing live music and local talent whilst offering a full festival experience on a family friendly level. We are a volunteer run music festival for our rural communities and this will be our most environmentally conscious event yet, which is of paramount  importance to us.”
