Love Thy Body – Real Life Stories – LAUNCHES MONDAY 16th NOVEMBER 2020!

With Love Thy Body Project co-founders Serena Novelli, Laura Bland and Ana Bonasera.

Serena Novelli, Laura Bland and Ana Bonasera are out to change the world by empowering women to love the skin they are in.

23 real women, one of whom is Chinnor based, Jemma Stevens, share their stories of overcoming life’s challenges in a new collaboration book.

All too often women grow up feeling that they are not enough – not smart enough, not slim enough, not pretty enough, the list goes on. Love Thy Body Project was founded in September 2019 with the focus of helping women across the globe to step into their power and be true to themselves.

Utilising workshops, both online and in person (pre-covid), live trainings via social media, blogs, radio interviews, magazine interviews and more, Serena, Laura and Ana have already been able to reach out and help thousands of women. With a combined social media following of over 22,000 their aim is to continue to grow and make waves in the world of self-love and body confidence.

Life is never simple or straight forward, we all experience ups and downs, we each have different challenges and we each deal with them differently. In the first of what will be a series of books Serena, Laura and Ana help 23 inspirational women to share their stories.

Jemma Stevens

Jemma Stevens comments,

“Having lost 9 stone in weight, which I have maintained for more than 4 years now, I feel more confident in my own skin than ever. So much so that I now run my own health and wellness business Flawsome Jem where I share my love of CBD and Hemp and the many health benefits it has with my clients to help them achieve their own health goals. Being part of this book collaboration has allowed me to share my story, alongside 22 other hugely inspirational women and i’m so honoured to be a part of it. We hope that our stories resonate with our readers and that through reading all of our very different and unique journeys you too can learn to truly gain self-acceptance and love the skin you’re in!”

My book that I’m Co-Authoring with 23 wonderful ladies in Love Thy Body Project. Real Life Stories Volume 1.

The book is unique, Love Thy Body Project is unique, my story is unique, our mission is to support, inspire and bring hope to others which for me this is bringing the sunshine into the room.

This is not your average book and is not a simple case of learning to love and appreciate perceived flaws. Within this book there are 23 unique stories covering mental health issues, domestic abuse, surviving cancer, overcoming the body’s own perceived failings, childhood bullying and so much more.

23 amazing women have bonded, lifted each other up and held space for each other as they shared their writing journey. Most of these ladies have never embarked on a project like this before. They have now bared their soul to empower, inspire, uplift and support other women.

The book is due to be released mid November 2020 in both Kindle and paperback format.

Previously featured in/on: BBC Radio Leicester, BBC Radio Oxford, The Loughborough Echo, The Leicester Mercury, Elastic FM, How To Look Good Naked, Fit and Well Magazine, Fabulous Magazine, Best, BBC Oxford News, Solihull Radio, plus many more.

I know you’ll enjoy a fabulous day out! Another fun-filled family day out returning on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 is SydenhamFayre. The long-established event, co-ordinated and run entirely by villagers, raises funds for local groups and causes, supporting schools, community organisations and facilities in the surrounding area. Last year it raised over £9,000 for local causes. The Fayre centres around the picturesque village green from 12:30pm - 4:00pm and this year visitors can enjoy live entertainment, children’s games, a dog show, vintage cars, a BBQ, the tearoom and a huge variety of stalls selling quality gifts and goodies from local producers, plus there’ll be the ever-popular Bottle Tombola, Coconut Shy, Plate Smash, Plant Sale, Bric-A-Brac, Jewellery, Vintage Clothing and Tarot reader. Something else I wanted to draw attention to, after receiving a Press Release from Local home care company, Home Instead (Witney). They recently commissioned a survey of family carers and found 29% of them in Oxfordshire are at breaking point due to feeling highly stressed and isolated. It also concluded that a concerning 64% of them are neglecting their own health and well-being. As a company that supports older people in their own homes, Home Instead sees countless families in a desperate state as they seek to give their loved one the best life possible. If you are one of these people I urge you to reach out to them, or similar local organisations, to help you lighten the load. The full press release can be found on my website (here: https://shorturl.at/glvRX) along with contact information and tips that may help you and your loved ones. Until next month, enjoy reading...𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: https://look-localmagazine.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/MAY24_Issue138_28pg_WEB.pdf....#whatsgoingoninoxfordshire #looklocalmagazine #advertiselocal #supportsmallbusinessess #smallbusinesssupport #looklocal #smallbusinessesinoxfordshire #looklocalmagazineoxfordshire #localmagazineoxfordshire #oxfordshiremagazine #localmagazine #supportlocalbusiness #supportlocalbusinesses #supportlocal ... Hello, Lucie Ponsford here from Mimosa design,In this April edition of Look Locally Over the Garden Gate, I continue to tell the story of why plants perform in different places; with knowledge, there is power to grow in our gardens better. So far, we have discussed apex forest (temperate biome), desert plants (arid biome), and grassland biome.Read full article on Page 22 of the April Issue or click here: https://look-localmagazine.co.uk/look-locally-over-the-garden-gate-with-lucie-giselle-ponsford-9/ ...
