The impressive award certificates were presented to the five winners at Thame Players’ Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 17th July.
Pam Armstrong, NODA London Councillor, said of the London Region award winners,
“Warm congratulations to all our district winners. You have the prestigious distinction to be singled out as the best in your district and are the cream of what London Region has to offer. For those of you who have been nominated for an award by your own society, this demonstrates the high regard in which you are held and how treasured you are by your society.”
Mike Rochford, Chair of Thame Players, said,
“Having submitted two candidates and been nominated by NODA representatives for three more NODA London Region awards, we are delighted that all five were winners. These accolades show how much talent there is within the Thame Players’ community and also demonstrate how hard we work to bring high-quality productions and outstanding amateur actors to our theatre. We continue to be proud of being the only dedicated entertainment venue for the people of Thame and surrounding villages.”
