Stamp, part of the UOE retail group, is pleased to announce the launch of its innovative stationary and gifting store concept at the historical Glynswood location in Thame.

The transformation will bringing fresh energy to Thame’s high street combining the trusted expertise of one of the UK’s fastest growing independent retailers, with a modern, joyful in-store experience designed for the way people live today.

The refreshed space preserves the shop’s much-loved established retail team, the historical character of the building and the local character of the range. Significant investment will be made in modernising the interior to create an inviting environment that highlights local suppliers and artisan products, alongside the enhanced customer service and community engagement which parent company UOE is known for.

Within the year a versatile upstairs community space will be refit, which Stamp intends to open for community events, workshops and potential artist-in-residence collaborations.

Elliot Jacobs, CEO of UOE, commented:

“We believe the high street isn’t dying; it just needs businesses willing to invest in it properly. We are making a significant investment in this unique high street location to make it a vibrant and welcoming space that supports local connections and celebrates Thame’s independent spirit. The team remains at the heart of everything we do, and we are excited to build on the relationships they have nurtured over many years.”

Stamp’s aims to be a positive contributor to Thame’s town centre and economic vitality, ensuring the store continues to be a valued part of local life for years to come.

Community members and local organisations interested in collaborating on events or creative initiatives in the upstairs space are invited to contact the Stamp team directly at expert@uoe.co.uk.

Check out your new local Stamp store at 11 High St, Thame OX9 2BZ from 16th April 2026.
