After a hugely successful debut last year, Humble Country is returning to Thame Food Festival in 2019 with a new and exciting array of homeware and lifestyle exhibitors. The Humble Country marquee will be THE place to shop for stylish eclectic treasures for your home and garden. Come and browse for that “how could I have lived without it” piece or that “once in a lifetime” find. All under one roof and housed in a stylish marquee we are sure there will be something for everyone – from urban dwellers to country folk alike.
This shopping emporium has been dreamt up and brought to life by two local ladies with a love for stylish, quirky homewares and we are excited to see what they have in store for us this year.
Commenting on the news, Lotte Duncan patron and organiser of Thame food Festival said:
“What a delight the Humble Country marquee was at last year’s event! We are absolutely thrilled they are joining us again to add their unique additional dynamic to the Food Festival. Sitting alongside the myriad of artisan and street food stalls we currently have booked, they will be a shoppers dream and promise to be hugely popular amongst foodies and home lovers alike.”

Thame Food Festival CIC is a not for profit community interest company. This year’s event will be held at the Thame Show Ground on 28th and 29th September 2019.
This event, originally based in the town centre, has been going since 2008 and last year attracted thousands of people. This year is aiming to have over 180 artisan producers alongside demonstrations from many leading chefs and bakers. The event naturally attracts a number of high profile celebrities from both the chef and baking world including Master Chef and Great British Bake Off stars. It is also part of the British Food Fortnight (it falls in the middle weekend of that celebration).
