This year’s event on the 28th and 29th September at Thame Showground is yet again set to attract visitors from far and wide who all share a common interest – a passion for quality local produce! This years line-up includes a growing list of top celebrity chefs combined with a delightful mix of foodie feasting from artisan food & drink producers, demonstrations, live music and great entertainment.
This year’s Food Festival kicks off with a bang as we welcome none other, than Great British Bake Off’s finest, Mary Berry, as she takes part in an exclusive interview. In addition, across both days, there will be wonderful artisan producers, street food stalls, pop-up pub and obviously yummy foodie sampling, plus:
Chef and Baker Demonstrations…
A myriad of demonstrations on the Magimix main stage will be taking place including Alex Hollywood, Briony May, Chris Wheeler and Jane Devonshire to name just a few! Not to mention book signings and other demonstrations galore on featured stalls.
Enter into the festival vibe with the dedicated live music area celebrating the musical talents of many local artists. The Sunday will also see United Vibe band, including Elliot Horne from Towersey, who went to Lord Williams’s School, taking to the music stage. They appeared in the most recent series of The X Factor, mentored by Robbie Williams and recently supported him at Party in the Park.
More than just food…
Join in with all the fun and frolics of the Dog Show by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. This will include Hearing Dogs demonstrations and your opportunity to enter your four legged champion into one of the celebrated categories. Children will also be entertained by activities run by local charity – Thomley, including face painting, tattoos, archery, giant bubbles and much more. For the shopaholics, step into a marquee of eclectic vintage-themed and beautifully unique home and kitchenware exhibitors by Humble Country. Sumo suits
